About Me

Dr. Shah comes to StatCare to practice in the field of Interventional Pulmonology. After graduating from medical school in India (2012), he went on to a residency at the University of Miami in Palm Beach Florida for Internal Medicine (2017). Dr. Shah was a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow for Hofstra Northwell Lenox Hill Hospital, and then an Interventional Pulmonary Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In addition to advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy, he has an additional special interest in advanced interventional pulmonary for complex airway problems including airway stenting and tumor debulking. He also specializes in diagnosis and management of pleural effusions and pleural diseases. He is a member of the American Association of Bronchology and Interventional and Pulmonology, American Thoracic Society, and a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Shah enjoys playing and watching soccer and is a supporter of the English soccer club Manchester United. Dr. Shah is also a travel enthusiast and indulges in adventure sports when he can.
