Dr. Joel Norman joined Dr. William Reid in July 2011.  He is a board eligible neurosurgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive neurosurgery.  He brings vast experience with image guided stereotactic surgery to allow for smaller incisions and faster recovery times both in cranial and spinal surgery.  He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

Dr. Norman is a native of Seymour, TN and obtained his medical degree from ETSU's Quillen College of Medicine.  He completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY.  Dr. Norman is committed to the practice of neurosurgery in his hometown.
